RUN!!! THERE'S THUNDER!

So you know when you check the weather, and it says "Severe thunderstorm coming", or "Flood danger" you probably think it's not true. Well that's what I thought at 8:27 P.M.
Of course, I was wrong.
The first thing a heard was thunder. You know, I thought it was the usual.
But then I hear more thunder. So I looked outside. I saw purple and blue lightning. I ran to my brother and screamed, "LIGHTNING!"
My brother told me to stay away from the windows and go upstairs. I did as told but I still wanted to look outside. So I looked outside and saw a "4" shaped purple lightning. As I read to put myself to sleep, I noticed that the thunder wasn't so loud anymore. So again I started to look. And that's the story of May 31, 2017.
